Casual Artist Questionnaire
Questions created by Lillen.
- Name:
Crisostomo ^_^ - Favorite kind of art to make:
Abstract(?) art where I just slap whatever the hell I want on it, add some texture, and call it a day. I LOVE VISUAL CLUTTER!!! - Digital or traditional art?
Digital. It's just easier + cheaper for me! - Art school or self-taught?
Self-taught. I'm kind of scared of art school I'm ngl. - Realism or stylized art?
Stylized. More fun that way. - Characters or landscapes?
You don't see me doing either often, but BOTH!! I like making character-centric fanart and studying nature!! - Favorite colors:
Blue.. But I like working with warmer colors the best. They're more emotional to me. - Themes or subjects in your art:
Emotions.. Lots of 'em.. - Favorite art movements:
Umm. None... I don't think about movements that much. - Artists who inspire you:
Whoever was in charge for the art direction in POSTAL 1, and various postal fanartists whose blogs I peruse with caution and cursor always ready to click off. I like their art and they seem like cool people, but alas... my mind is weak. - Movies, tv, games, music, or books that inspire you:
Postal and Cry of Fear... And various metal/industrial album covers. - Do you have OCs? Share your favorites.
Yes but I never write/draw them :( My favorite is my BLU Pyro OC... I love them and their war-traumatized swag. - Your biggest art strengths:
Color.. and maybe composition if I'm optimistic enough. - Your biggest art weakness:
Just trying to make my art (the typical standards of) good. I don't know what color theory is. Anatomy is my #1 enemy. What the hell is the rule of thirds. My art is supposed to be ugly (in a very beautiful way). - Proudest art achievements:
Learning various art styles and being able to switch to them as I will it LOL. - The hardest thing about being an artist:
Corporations devaluing us and AI trying to take our jobs. That's all. - The people who love and support your art:
Some of my friends... I don't talk about my hobbies to them much. - Do you sell your art or take commissions?
Yes, but not on here.. - Art Advice for your younger self:
I got nothing. They had it all figured out and improved on their own time! Without their silly mistakes and unadulterated joy, I wouldn't be at the level I am now.
