Homemade Jam
—Jam as in music, and homemade as in carefully curated by Crisóstomo daunself. Haha. Do you get it? Aren't I so clever?? :D
These playlists are hosted on Spotify, until I find a better alternative...
Genre-based
Personal favorites of genres I've decided are close enough to group together in playlists.. Not much to say about these. I just like them.
Themed
Playlists that follow a certain feeling/emotion or serve a particular purpose in my life. Expect lots of yapping from me.
Feel-good or empowering songs that motivate me. I usually listen to it when exercising.
Looking at this playlist, I come to realize that.. my type of motivation happens to be strangely aggressive?? Weird, but whatever works, I guess.
Anyway. Fun fact about the title— I actually got it from a game called Clinical Trial, in a phrase said by Lee Smith. I relate a lot to his bleak view on life; not having much to live for, but deciding to use the "wait-and-see approach" just in case things got better. It hit close to home, so here we are now!
A playlist themed after the kind of pain that comes with change. Initially, this was meant to be a transgender dysphoria playlist, but there aren't many songs with that theme in mind.. :"(
The lyrics of these songs aren't all about pain, but I focused more on the musical style; Drawn-out words, strained vocals, raw instrumentals, and the such. Raw and very sensitive pain expressed through music instead of words, is basically what I tried going for.
This is definitely one of my more problematic playlists..! I themed this one after my personal experiences with misanthropy and hate— of which I don't intend on acting upon anytime soon!! Don't worry!!!
I know and am better than that, thank you! I just have mental problems..
I'm not a very naturally loving and caring person, I just choose to be one when I can. It's hard to put my typical, knee-jerk instincts of hate into words, but these songs express me well.
